"Bridging Communities Through Preparedness, Collaboration, and Resilience."

Mission

The mission of the San Diego Healthcare Disaster Coalition (SDHDC) is to strengthen San Diego County’s preparedness and response efforts by fostering collaboration, communication, and situational awareness among public, private, and community partners before, during, and after disasters.

SDHDC serves as a multidisciplinary forum that promotes healthcare readiness through coordinated planning, training, and exercises. The coalition supports standardized practices, identifies and addresses system gaps, and keeps members informed of evolving policies, procedures, and best practices across local, state, and federal levels.
